Getting started

What is LAST SHIFTS?

LAST SHIFTS is a prediction-market app built around real-world events. You explore a question, choose Yes or No, and follow an outcome checked against that market’s stated rules and evidence source. The app contains account, wallet, and market activity; this public website explains how the experience works.

Are the examples on this website live markets?

No. Questions, probabilities, and chart movements on this website are illustrative. Selecting Yes or No in a preview does not place a position, register an account, or move money. The app shows actual market availability and current terms.

What kinds of questions can I explore?

The examples cover sports, weather, the economy, culture, and technology. Actual topics depend on the markets available in the app. Each question needs its own event definition, time window, and resolution rules. Explore the examples.

What should I read before choosing a side?

Read the complete question, the closing time, the source used to verify the result, and the rules for settlement. Check the stake and terms before confirming. Familiarity with a topic does not remove the risk of losing a matched stake. The participation guide explains each stage.

Markets & outcomes

What do Yes and No mean?

Yes means the question’s stated condition is met; No means it is not met, under that market’s rules. Read the exact wording. A condition such as “at least 1 mm” differs from “more than 1 mm,” and a result within normal playing time can differ from a result after extra time.

What happens if my position is only partly matched?

The matched portion is exposed to the result. An unmatched portion can remain pending while waiting for the other side. If it remains unmatched at settlement, that portion is refunded. For example, if GHS 60 of a GHS 100 position matches, the other GHS 40 is still unmatched until it matches or is returned at settlement.

Does a market closing mean it has been settled?

No. Closing ends participation. Resolution checks the outcome against the evidence. Settlement applies the result to positions and wallet activity. A market can close before the event finishes or before its required evidence becomes available.

How is the outcome verified?

The market’s stated rules and evidence source determine the result. This could be a specified match result, weather observation, economic release, or announcement. Check the named source, relevant dates, and any conditions. Read more about our approach.

What if an event is postponed or cancelled?

Check the specific market rules and its current status. A postponement, cancellation, missing observation, or revised result may require different handling. This website does not promise a universal refund or settlement outcome for those situations.

Wallet & payments

How do I add money?

Deposits are initiated through the wallet in the app and processed through Paystack. Check the current payment options, limits, and transaction status there. This public website does not take payments. Check app availability before attempting a deposit.

How do withdrawals work?

Request a withdrawal to a mobile money account through the app. Check the recipient details and any current verification or amount requirements. Follow the request status; a completed payment is recorded with a payment reference. A request should not be treated as paid until its status confirms completion.

Are returns guaranteed?

No. A matched position can lose. Returns depend on the actual outcome and the applicable market terms. Displayed probabilities, illustrative examples, and past results do not guarantee a return. Only participate with an amount you can afford to lose.

Where can I check deposits and settlement entries?

Your wallet and activity records are in the app. Review the relevant transaction, position, settlement, or withdrawal entry. A deposit, a matched stake, an unmatched amount, and a pending withdrawal are different records; do not rely on a balance alone to explain all activity.

Account & access

Where do I sign in?

The application is at lastshifts.com/app/. The main website at lastshifts.com is the public introduction. Opening an example on this website does not sign you in or create an account.

Can I use the app right now?

The app frontend is online, but its account and market services are experiencing an interruption. The public website remains available. Visit Service availability to run a current connectivity check. A responding health endpoint alone does not verify sign-in or payments.

Where can I read the privacy information and terms?

The app’s sign-in screen includes Terms, Privacy, and Rules. Review those documents and the market-specific rules before creating an account or participating. Our platform information page explains which parts of the experience are handled on this public website and which are in the app.
